The band Shirock did a benefit concert today at school/work (I never know what to call it) to help raise money for the Haiti Relief fund. A lot of my students already knew of them (their cds are sold at hollister), but this was the first time I'd heard their music and they were really good! After the concert they hung around to do photos and interviews with some of my yearbook staffers. They were very cool, very genuine people. We really enjoyed them being here. http://www.shirock.net/
